Hoping to raise funds to give SOFT’s Special Children a Christmas Card and a small gift of an One4All card after another very difficult year on Giving Tuesday and over this period as it is the season of good will.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving on 28 November 2023 and is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.). It’s an American phenomenon with an Irish twist!

We are requesting a small (€5, €10 or €20) donation. The Webmaster will guarantee a minimum that each child will receive on each voucher regardless of what is donated.

A One4All voucher to be included with a Christmas Card sent out to SOFT’s Special Children this Christmas. All money raised will still go to SOFT’s Special Children.

A unique link has been created for a short featured campaign on GivenGain and money raised through this link will be used. (Not the Official Website Donate Button)

Let’s spread the generosity around Tues Nov 28, 2023  and make it a GIVING Tuesday.

It will be kept open and featured for the rest of the week just in case you forget or don’t get a chance on the day. Also the link will open in advance of Friday 24th November the same day as the Late Late Toy Show. The Late Late Toy Show may also have an appeal as well for other charities but if it’s like previous years it will only be for other charities.

The Webmaster would like to thank each and everyone who contributed last year to this very worthy cause. It was very much appreciated by all SOFT’s special children and every cent and more went to them.

Support Organisation For Trisomy (S.O.F.T.), a national registered charity, is a voluntary group dedicated to providing support, assistance and information to families of children diagnosed and born with Patau’s  Syndrome (Trisomy 13) and Edwards’ Syndrome (Trisomy 18).

Support is provided during pre-natal diagnosis, during the child’s life and after the child’s passing.

Fundraising and donations are our main source of income and that is challenging in these difficult times.

If you feel very generous and you wish to donate more than €50 then please email soft.fundraising and request SOFT Ireland IBAN.

If donating using GivenGain then you have three options below either of which is acceptable.

“Cover the fees for the charity” 8%

“Cover the fees for the charity and support the work of the GivenGain Foundation”  >8%
