April
Ode to the Daisy
by Peter Burn
Lovely, unassuming thing,
Unto thee I praises sing;
Regal greatness do I see
In thy sweet humility
April is derived from the latin word “aperit”, which means to open. It is considered that April is the month of the growing season and when trees and flowers begin to “open”. April Birth Flower is the Daisy and symbolizes purity, true love and innocence
April is associated with the season and spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
For all Christians around the world, Easter is a sacred holiday, a representation of Christ’s ascension and return to Earth. It’s called a moveable holiday since it doesn’t fall on a set date every year. Lent, the 40-day period leading up to Easter, is a time of reflection and penance, remembering the 40 days that Jesus spent in the wilderness.
Light a candle for SOFT and allow the light.
