It’s that time of year again for our annual Autumn Break. As many of you informed us that last year’s 30th celebration in the Talbot hotel was very enjoyable and met a lot of our groups needs we were successful in securing the same venue again!

Due to severe pressures in the Hotel Industry across the country, we are extremely lucky to have secured a hotel for our break at a price that we hope you agree was manageable. Great to meeting up with everyone on the weekend. A letter went out to all members with details.

Saturday 8^th October OPENING CEREMONY & AGM, Escape to Dome Children accompanied by an adult were taken to the Dome Play Centre, Launch of SOFT Leaflet / Christmas Cards, Dinner, Raffle, Magic Show,, Halloween Fancy Dress, Disco

Sunday 9^th October Poems Readings etc, Blowing Bubbles,Why our Baby Book Distribution and Christmas Cards, Tea/Coffee/Cakes Treats for Children.

T13/T18 Pre-Natal Diagnosis Support & Information Leaflet 2022 Launched

In 2010 our first T13/T18 Pre-Natal Diagnosis Support & Information was launched. This was compiled with the help of new members who shared their experiences and ideas. Most women were finding out at the 20 week scan or beforehand that they were expecting a trisomy baby and needed support and information at a glance. This leaflet has been reprinted several times with the names of new stories and available in maternity hospitals all over Ireland.

We launched our printed “Why Our Baby?” book last April. All chapters have been updated and 11 new stories added. It was then necessary to update our Pre-Natal Diagnosis Support & Information Leaflet. All committee members got a copy and were asked for feedback. This Pre-Natal Diagnosis Support & Information Leaflet 2022.was formally launched on Sat after AGM.
